Notes: Takes place near the end of the Star Ocean Final Sagaverse story.

She knew nothing but darkness. Knew no memories or feelings. Nothing.

 

Then a light appeared, and within it a young girl. Long red hair framed a pale face and wide blue eyes that knew much more then they should, a short white dress hung off her small frame, and an equal sided gold cross hung from her neck.

 

“Now is not the time for you,” the girl said, reaching out to brush strands of dual colored hair from a snow white face. “The program you worked so hard to perfect was a success, completed just as the deletion went through. Remember. Remember your friends, your family, the one who became your brother. Remember the ocean of stars you saw, and the things you did, good and bad. Remember, Angel Lansfeld. No. Nox. Angel Nox. Sister of the wicked.”

 

In the darkness marred by the girl's soft light ruby red eyes opened and met with crystal blue. “Ne...phi...lim...”

 

“Yes. Now wake.” The girl and her light faded away as a strong voice echoed in the abyss.

 

“Rebooting 'Child of the Night Goddess'. System restore. Execute!”
